Ecouraging to adopt pets

I constantly feel responsible to help animals in one or other way. This time I thought of doing a few postcards encouraging to adopt pets from shelters and leave them in a local library. As it wasn't the first time of me doing some crafty postcards I wanted to try something distinct this time. I looked for some inspiration online and found a postcard with a cut out dog figure representing the "emptiness" of human heart that can be filled with the love for an adopted pet. I found this idea to be exclusive and very touching and made up my mind to challenge myselft to try and recreate the online postcard. 
Generally, it was something different to try and I enjoyed the process of creating a simple though full of meaning postcards. I have to admit, that at first I was frustrated when cutting out the figures because I couldn't figure out how to cut out the thin details but then I changed normal scissors to small nail ones and it was much easier. As I liked the technique so much, I made two similar postcards but coloured them in different colours. To use colour on the cards was a very spontaneous decision but I didn't regret it at any point beacause the colour made the word "adopt" to stand our even more. I also made another poscard with blue dots as an illustrative detail. The idea was completely mine and I think it turned out sophisticated and cute. 
These and other girls' postcards we decided to leave at a local library and the librarians were very pleased with our kind act.

Vita Scientia is a conference which gathers life scientists from around the world every two years. I have never previously heard about this kind of event organized by Vilnius University students but as soon as my biology teacher a month prior to the conference offered to take part as a volunteer I agreed with no thought of hesitation.  Well, I didn't even expect to be regretful about such a decision in the future but I was wrong. Making lunch for two

Long days at school require proper lunch to fuel the brain and the body for the most efficiency at classes. My sister and I are vegetarians and this restricts our choices of lunch in the school canteen. The only options are usually some kind of soup or rice with veggies. This kind of food isn't nor nutritious neither delicious, thus we like to take meals from home. We are used to taking meals prepared by our mom but this usually means that after school you have to eat the same meal or make something on your own, which is not an option for us with all the school work. Taking all of this into account I figured to try out making quick meal for the two of us to take to school. IB convention

This year is a special one for Vilnius lyceum IB students because exactly twenty years have passed since IB program was founded in our school. It's something we should be proud of and celebrate together with other IB schools. Luckily, there's an annual event called IB convention, first organized by Kaunas Jesuit gymnasium years ago, which was a perfect opportunity to address pride-worthy anniversary. Our coordinators gathered all IB course a month or even more before the event to start an early organization. At first, it was hard to generate concrete ideas, especially as none of us imagined what the event should look like.
